"Get fit, make friends, have fun."

We are a small, friendly club located within the grounds of the Richings Park Sports Club. If you are looking for some gentle exercise in a friendly atmosphere, then lawn bowls is the sport for you — and Richings Park Bowls Club is the place to be.

We play outdoors from April to September, with weekend and mid-week matches against other local clubs. A number of our members also compete at County and National level, and we run a host of social events open to all members.

Easy to learn. A lifetime to master.

Lawn bowls is an easy game to learn how to play, but a slightly more difficult one to master. The longer you play, the more you pick up the finer points of the game — and the better you become.

  • All abilities and ages welcome — experienced or complete newcomer
  • Free coaching from our club experts
  • All you'll need is a pair of flat-soled trainers
